Take the Next Step in Your Career with Strongsville’s Best Team
Are you a skilled technician who is tired of "flat-rate burnout" or working in a dark, disorganized shop?
Rad Air of Strongsville is looking for a motivated, self-starting Mid-Level Automotive Technician to join our super clean and big facility.
If you have a solid foundation in under-car repairs and are ready to sharpen your diagnostic skills in a clean, high-tech environment, we want to talk to you. We provide the tools, the training, and the steady workflow; you provide the pride in craftsmanship.
The Rad Air Advantage:A Professional Environment: Work in the cleanest, most modern shop in the area. No grease-covered floors here—we value a workspace as professional as our techs.
Stability & Growth: We have a massive, loyal client base. You won’t be sitting around waiting for cars; you’ll have a consistent, rewarding workload.
Life Outside the Shop: We value work-life balance with flexible scheduling options so you don’t miss what matters at home.
Top-Tier Benefits: Comprehensive health insurance, paid time off, and a retirement plan to help you build a future.
Never Stop Learning: We offer paid training to help you transition from mid-level to Master Tech.
The "Fun" Factor: Exclusive access to the Rad Air Racing Team and a supportive, close-knit crew that actually enjoys working together.
What You’ll Do:As a Mid-Level Tech, you are the backbone of our daily operations. You’ll handle everything from precision maintenance to foundational diagnostics.
Under-Car Expertise: Perform brake service, suspension work, exhaust repairs, and steering components with efficiency.
Diagnostic Support: Perform initial computer diagnostics and electrical testing to identify root causes.
Digital Inspections: Conduct thorough vehicle health inspections and document findings clearly for our service advisors and customers.
Fluid Services: Execute high-quality fluid exchanges and routine maintenance.
Collaborate: Work alongside our Lead Technicians on complex "puzzle" jobs to expand your skillset.
What We’re Looking For:Experience: Roughly 3–5 years of professional experience in an automotive repair setting.
The "Self-Starter" Mindset: You see what needs to be done and you do it. You take pride in an organized bay and a job done right the first time.
Tools: You own your own basic set of tools (we provide the specialized high-tech equipment).
Communication: Ability to document repairs clearly and talk through technical issues with the team.
Certification: ASE certifications are a plus, but a willingness to earn them (with our help!) is required.
