Universal Banker

First Federal Lakewood is seeking a Universal Banker to deliver exceptional service in our Customer Service & Support department. You will handle a wide range of banking needs, including opening and maintaining accounts, processing transactions, answering inquiries, and educating customers on products, digital banking tools, and services. The role combines teller and platform responsibilities with opportunities to deepen relationships through needs-based recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Provide frontline customer service for deposits, withdrawals, payments, and transfers
• Open, maintain, and close personal accounts while ensuring accuracy and compliance
• Respond to customer inquiries about products, services, and digital banking tools
• Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate banking, insurance, or investment solutions
• Ensure adherence to bank policies, security procedures, and regulatory requirements
• Resolve account issues or escalate complex problems as needed
• Educate customers on self-service and online/mobile banking capabilities
• Balance cash drawer and reconcile transactions daily
• Support branch sales and service goals through referrals and cross-selling
• Participate in community and relationship-building activities aligned with FFL values
