Memory Care Support Partner – Full Time

Strongsville, Ohio

$19.00 – $21.00 per hour

Week 1:
Tuesday/Thursday/Friday & Week 2:
Monday/Saturday/Sunday 7am-7pm

• Advocate of Empathy:
  Understand the importance of empathy and create human connection with residents during their most vulnerable moments.
• Patient Observer:
  Discover residents’ interests, abilities, and what makes each resident who they are. Collaborate to create appropriate engagement plans and implement strategies with patience to ensure success.
• Master of the Mise en Scène:
  Set the stage for a successful day by preparing the dining room for breakfast, setting up the library for an event, and preparing the resident’s room for their nighttime routine.
• Life Partner:
  Partner with residents to achieve all facets of daily life from the moment they wake to the moment they go to sleep.
• Document resident care and changes in condition accurately and efficiently.
• Assist with orientation of team members assigned to memory care neighborhoods.

• At least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Fluent in reading, writing, understanding, and communicating in English with residents.
• Positive and energetic attitude, loves residents.
• Computer skills to print documents and enter resident information.
• Physically able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop all day and lift/move items up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to assist residents with sitting, standing, walking, and after a fall.
• Criminally cleared.
