PositionMemory Care Support Partner – Full Time

Salary$19.00 – $21.00 per hour
Shift ScheduleWeek 1:
Tuesday/Thursday/Friday & Week 2:
Monday/Saturday/Sunday 7am-7pm
- Advocate of Empathy:
Understand the importance of empathy and create human connection with residents during their most vulnerable moments. - Patient Observer:
Discover residents’ interests, abilities, and what makes each resident who they are. Collaborate to create appropriate engagement plans and implement strategies with patience to ensure success. - Master of the Mise en Scène:
Set the stage for a successful day by preparing the dining room for breakfast, setting up the library for an event, and preparing the resident’s room for their nighttime routine. - Life Partner:
Partner with residents to achieve all facets of daily life from the moment they wake to the moment they go to sleep. - Document resident care and changes in condition accurately and efficiently.
- Assist with orientation of team members assigned to memory care neighborhoods.
- At least 18 years of age.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Fluent in reading, writing, understanding, and communicating in English with residents.
- Positive and energetic attitude, loves residents.
- Computer skills to print documents and enter resident information.
- Physically able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop all day and lift/move items up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to assist residents with sitting, standing, walking, and after a fall.
- Criminally cleared.
