Position

Medication Partner
Full‑time position

Location:

Strongsville, OH
Sign‑On Bonus: $3,000
Starting wage: $22.00 – $24.00 per hour

Shift Schedule

Week 1:
Monday / Saturday / Sunday
Week 2:
Tuesday / Wednesday / Friday
7:00 pm to 7:00 am
Weekend on‑call:
One Saturday or Sunday shift per month

Responsibilities
  • Advocate of Empathy: understand the importance of empathy and create human connection with residents during their most vulnerable moments

  • Create an inclusive and positive environment by investing with your whole heart in your work, team members, and the community
  • Engaged Egghead: be curious, ask questions, don’t assume that just because you don’t know, you can’t find out; be engaged in your development, growth, and training within the organization
  • Ensure the proper administration of medication
  • Maintain medication carts and proper record‑keeping
  • Proactive with assisting residents with activities of daily living (ADL) – bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating, and oral care
Qualifications
  • At least 18 years of age
  • Appropriately certified per state guidelines; certification is active and in good standing
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Professional in appearance and conduct
  • Mature interpersonal skills to work effectively with co‑workers
  • Read, write, understand, and communicate in English with our residents
  • Positive and energetic attitude who will love our residents
  • Computer skills sufficient to print documents and enter information about residents
  • Active, as the role requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day
  • Ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking, as well as after a fall
  • Criminally cleared
  • Good health and physically and mentally capable of performing assigned tasks; health screening within 6 months prior to or 7 days following employment; must test free from pulmonary tuberculosis at time of screening and annually thereafter
