As a Software Engineering Manager Senior within PNC's Data and Automation organization you will be based in Strongsville-OH, Pittsburgh-PA, Denver, CO or Dallas, TX.
Responsibilities- Act as Senior Software/Data Manager to drive ML Ops initiatives in the bank.
- Define and execute the enterprise MLOps roadmap, selecting and integrating cutting‑edge tools for feature stores, model training, deployment, and monitoring.
- Partner directly with data science and application development teams to understand their challenges and provide elegant, scalable MLOps solutions.
- Establish and enforce best practices for model management, versioning, and security, ensuring the ML platform is both powerful and compliant.
- Provide technical guidance to onshore and offshore development teams, fostering a culture of excellence in MLOps.
- Stay ahead of the curve by evaluating new technologies (e.g., AWS Sage Maker, MLflow, Kubernetes) and incorporating them into the tech stack.
- Drive hybrid/on‑prem deployments using Open Shift (OCP) and Kubernetes, ensuring cost efficiency and high availability.
- Manage a group of software engineers/managers across multiple product lines.
- Oversee the talent management of engineering talent, including recruiting, mentoring, and enabling a culture of learning with a focus on engineering craftsmanship.
- Foster technological innovation, ensuring adoption of current trends, capabilities, and practices emerging in the market.
- Identify issues, share best practices, and drive continuous improvement.
- Proven leadership experience in MLOps systems.
- Expertise with core MLOps capabilities.
- Solid understanding of machine learning principles and the end‑to‑end ML lifecycle platforms (e.g., MLflow, Kubeflow, AWS Sage Maker).
- Experience supporting development teams and collaborating with product vendors on issue resolution and security vulnerabilities.
- Dev Ops/Data Ops fundamentals: CI/CD (Jenkins, Git Lab CI), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and infrastructure as code (Terraform, Cloud Formation).
- Ability to lead and mentor both onshore and offshore teams.
- Ability to drive hybrid/on‑prem deployments using Open Shift (OCP) and Kubernetes.

Pay TransparencyBase Salary: $80,000 – $217,100
Salaries may vary based on geographic location, market data and on individual skills, experience, and education. This role is incentive eligible with the payment based upon company, business and/or individual performance.
