Position Summary:
The Infrastructure Dev Ops Engineer is responsible for modernizing, managing, and building our enterprise cloud and infrastructure platforms. The role resides within the IT Infrastructure team and focuses on enabling automation, standardization, and operational optimization across all AWS and Azure infrastructure and platform services. This senior position creates, maintains, and refines operational processes and procedures for the IT organization and is regarded as a technical leader.
& RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design, implement, and maintain Dev Ops CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure and platform workloads
- Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or similar templates
- Expand automation using Ansible and modern cloud capabilities
- Automate provisioning, configuration, and lifecycle management of cloud infrastructure
- Support cloud landing zones, subscriptions, resource groups, and naming standards
- Partner with application and platform teams to provide reliable, reusable infrastructure patterns
- Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting using log analytics to measure usage and performance
- Support security and compliance requirements including identity, encryption, logging, and access controls
- Participate in operational support, incident response, and root cause analysis
- Create and maintain technical documentation, diagrams, and runbooks
- Work with Systems Administrators to develop, document, and implement operational procedures
- Troubleshoot to resolve infrastructure, network, and software related issues
- AWS and Azure cloud engineering, automation, and management experience
- Experience with deploying and supporting container platforms
- Familiarity with Dev Sec Ops practices and pipeline security controls
- Proficiency with scripting languages including Python, Power Shell, JavaScript, Go, .NET
- System administration of enterprise Windows and Linux servers
- Experience in regulated environments such as mortgage, banking, or financial services
- Understanding of ITIL, SRE, or platform engineering concepts
- Expertise in prioritizing work and offering recommendations on work priorities
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong analytical skills with decisiveness and sound judgment
- Knowledge of evolving information technologies including cloud-based infrastructure solutions and IT best practices
- Time‑management skills and adaptability to workflow changes
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in a relevant IT degree program
- 5+ years of experience in infrastructure engineering roles, including designing and implementing AWS and Azure infrastructure and platform services
- Experience leading less senior teammates and working across multiple lines of business on all levels of project work
- Solid hands‑on experience with Dev Ops practices and pipeline controls
- Experience gathering requirements and deploying resources to support development teams on large projects

CompTIA A+, CCNA, Cloud Admin or Engineer certifications
