The Business Systems Analyst works closely with information technology professionals and business users to identify and solve organizational problems by redesigning and injecting technology into business processes.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Reviews, analyzes, and evaluates user needs to create solutions that support business strategies.
  • Acts as a liaison between IT professionals and business users.
  • Document system requirements.
  • Facilitate review of system requirements with cross-functional team members.
  • Identify test requirements from specifications, map test case requirements and design test coverage plan.
  • Hold test plan/case reviews with cross-functional team members.
  • Execute test cases and report test results.
  • Isolate, replicate, and report defects and verify defect fixes.
Qualifications
  • BS or BA degree or equivalent preferred.
  • 3+ years of requirements gathering and system testing experience.
  • Experience with vendor system integration through API endpoints.
  • Experience with XML data mapping.
  • Experience with workflow or process efficiency improvements.
  • Knowledge of mortgage banking business processes preferred.
  • Experience in agile development process.
Skills Required
  • Detail oriented with the ability to exercise sound judgment.
  • Self‑motivated individual with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet established deadlines.
  • Strong analytical thinking skills.
  • Ability to work in a team oriented environment.
  • Experience working and communicating with business stakeholders to understand requirements and turn into action.
  • Proficient computer skills, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Visio.
