This role will be a temporary minimum of 6 months with possible extension or hire at the delivery of the project depending on performance.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in developing project plans, timelines, and milestones for data warehouse implementation projects.
- Support project kick-off meetings and ensure all stakeholders are aligned on project objectives, scope, and deliverables.
- Coordinate project resources, including team members and external vendors, to ensure smooth project execution.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks and issues, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure timely completion of project milestones.
- Conduct regular project status meetings and provide updates to stakeholders on project progress, risks, and issues.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and document requirements for data warehouse implementation projects.
- Conduct analysis and feasibility studies to evaluate the impact of proposed changes and enhancements.
- Identify process improvement opportunities and recommend solutions to optimize project outcomes.
- Work closely with technical teams to translate business requirements into functional specifications.
- Assist in user acceptance testing (UAT) and ensure that implemented solutions meet business needs and objectives.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams, clients, and vendors.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders to gather requirements, provide project updates, and manage expectations.
- Facilitate productive discussions and workshops to ensure effective collaboration and decision-making.
- Act as a point of contact for project-related queries and provide timely and accurate responses.
- Create and maintain project documentation, including project plans, requirements, meeting minutes, and other project artifacts.
- Prepare regular project status reports, highlighting progress, risks, and issues, for management and stakeholders.
- Ensure that project documentation is organized, up-to-date, and easily accessible for future reference.
- Experience in Data Warehouse, Power
BI and Azure data models/processes. - Experience leading IT requirements gathering sessions.
- Experience reviewing large amounts of data and being able to pull KPIs to report on.
- Insurance, Contract Administration, and Finance backgrounds preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field.
• Proven experience in project coordination, business analysis, or a similar role.
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies and techniques.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to gather and interpret complex business requirements.
• Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and technologies;
Experience with Power
BI and SQL is essential.
• Proficiency in project management software and tools.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
