Quality Assurance Lead​/Data Testing; Python - Corporate Functions Technology

As a Quality Assurance Lead - Data Testing (Python) within PNC's Corporate Functions Technology organization, you will be based in Pittsburgh, PA or Strongsville, OH.

• Operating in a global delivery model, brings strategic direction to testing and acts as the subject matter expert for both the quality discipline and a line of business domain(s).
• Leads the review of testing artifacts throughout the product life‑cycle to ensure appropriate sign off and prioritization of testing work, including coordinating test strategy, scripting and defect resolution.
• Ensures early engagement with internal partners and proactive planning to ensure quality is a core area of focus early in the product lifecycle.
• Accounts for quality standards in development, implementation and upkeep of test scripts and opportunities for automation of testing products.
• Develops meaningful management metrics that help gauge project health, identifies trends and opportunities for continuous improvement in product release.

• Highly skilled Quality Assurance Lead/Senior Quality Engineer with deep experience in testing Python‑based, data‑intensive systems.
• Deep experience ensuring the quality and consistency of platforms that support complex data pipelines, APIs, and system‑generated outputs—particularly within risk, regulatory, and banking domain environments.
• Ability to leverage both manual and automated testing to validate data accuracy, integrity, and compliance while driving continuous improvements across QA processes.
• Expertise in Python for test automation and data validation.
• 3+ years of relevant industry experience. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. Certifications desired but not required.

Base Salary: $55,000.00 – $
Salaries may vary based on geographic location, market data and on individual skills, experience, and education. This role is incentive eligible with the payment based upon company, business and/or individual performance.
