Position Overview
Infrastructure Engineer – Elastic Stack at PNC in Strongsville, OH. Responsible for designing, building, and maintaining infrastructure technology solutions that support the Elastic Stack and related services.
Responsibilities- Apply solution design and support while meeting customer needs.
- Leverage technical knowledge and industry experience to design, build and maintain infrastructure technology solutions.
- Develop software components and hardware for projects, aligning them with business strategies and objectives.
- Independently solve common problems and update applications with new technology.
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, developers and other staff to meet project objectives.
- Analyze technological needs of customers and provide ongoing support for clients.
- Exhibit customer focus by understanding and aligning with customer needs and satisfaction.
- Assess and manage risks associated with business objectives and activities, ensuring adherence to PNC's Enterprise Risk Management Framework.
- Competent Linux administrator.
- Basic experience with package management.
- Expertise in running Ansible playbooks; writing playbooks is a plus.
- Experience with Elastic and common troubleshooting.
- Experience with Git: source code pulling and cloning.
- Proficiency in one or more scripting languages (Shell or Python).
- Preferably 5 years of relevant experience.
- Experience working on team projects with shared codebases.
- Experience with the Elastic stack.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to apply customer focus and risk management principles.
Roles at this level typically require a university/college degree with at least 3+ years of relevant/direct industry experience. Certifications are often desired; a comparable combination of education, job-specific certification(s), and experience may be considered.

Pay TransparencyBase Salary: $55,000.00 – $. Salaries may vary based on geographic location, market data, and individual skills, experience, and education. This role is incentive eligible.
