As a Release Manager within PNC's CI&IB organization, you will be based in Strongsville, OH or Pittsburgh, PA.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and coordinate high-risk or complex releases across multiple applications and teams within C&IB
  • Drive release planning, scheduling, and execution across C&IB domains
  • Present upcoming C&IB release activity, risks, and validation steps to executive leaders
  • Serve as a floating RM within C&IB assigned dynamically based on risk, scale, and gaps
  • Ensure ITSM processes meet enterprise standards and quality expectations
  • Step in on expedited, failed, or at-risk changes and stabilize delivery
  • Provide hands‑on support to director teams lacking RM coverage or maturity
  • Identify and enforce process improvements in release and change management
  • Act as a cross‑portfolio quality control layer, not tied to a single application
  • Manages multiple aspects of technology releases, ensuring the coordinated integration of applications and systems within various portfolio streams
  • Serves as a subject‑matter expert while partnering with various teams to build release schedules and project plan/milestones for an application and/or project; leads the build and maintenance of the infrastructure for configuration and release management, for new or enhanced application systems
  • Leads the quality check on change releases to ensure processes are following enterprise standards, guidelines, and best practices, creates and maintains deployment plan success guides within segments and projects ahead of release execution, and oversees configuration management procedures and processes
  • Consults and collaborates with peers to provide oversight and ensure proper use of tools, methods and schedules to enable compliance with the change management process
  • Executes change management processes appropriately, documents release management process improvement opportunities and ensures proper escalation as needed
  • Mentors and trains others on release coordination, deployment, and overall best practices

Pay Transparency

Base Salary: $87,500.00 – $. Salaries may vary based on geographic location, market data and on individual skills, experience, and education. This role is incentive eligible with the payment based upon company, business and/or individual performance.
