Purchasing Associate
This role involves dedicating 20 hours to management tasks and 20 hours to assisting the purchasing team. The position is based at a centralized corporate location, with well-implemented processes that require maintenance. In addition to management duties, the role supports the purchasing side of the business, and depending on skill level, may involve some buying responsibilities.
Responsibilities- Maintain and manage established processes at the corporate location.
- Assist the purchasing team with various tasks, including accounts payable and order entry.
- Support the purchasing side of the business, potentially engaging in buying activities as required.
- Utilize SAP or other ERP systems for efficient operation.
- Experience in accounts payable, bookkeeping, or basic purchase order work.
- Background in purchasing.
- Proficiency in SAP or other ERP systems.
- Basic Excel skills.

- Ability to work in a team with an easy-going atmosphere.
The role requires on-site work in a team environment characterized by a collaborative and easy-going culture. The team does not have big personalities, contributing to a relaxed work atmosphere.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Strongsville, OH.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
