Office Cleaner — Part‑Time Evening

Summit Valley Services is looking for an Office Cleaner to work primarily during the evening shift. The role is part‑time, offering 8.75 hours per week at a single location in Strongsville, OH. The successful candidate will maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for employees and visitors.

In this position, you will clean, disinfect, and maintain office and commercial spaces. Responsibilities include general cleaning, sanitizing, and the upkeep of bathrooms, kitchen areas, and surrounding facilities.

• Monday 8:00 – 9:45 pm

• Tuesday 6:00 – 7:45 pm

• Thursday 8:00 – 9:45 pm

• Friday 6:00 – 7:45 pm

• Saturday 5:00 – 6:45 pm

• Performs general cleaning and sanitizing tasks throughout the assigned property.
• Uses a cleaning cart to transport supplies.
• Cleans and disinfects bathrooms, including toilets.
• Cleans and disinfects kitchen areas.
• Wipes and dusts surfaces in rooms and cleans mirrors.
• Vacuums and cleans floors, rugs, furniture, and drapes.
• Monitors hard‑surface flooring; mopping as needed.
• Stocks towels, washcloths, hand towels, and soaps in bathrooms.
• Picks up and empties trash containers.
• Notifies maintenance if something is not working properly.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

• Detail‑oriented and thorough.
• Capable of working independently and as part of a team.
• Maintains discretion and respects the privacy of residents, tenants, and guests.
• Proficient in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English.
• Consistent and reliable attendance.
• Valid driver’s license.

Education sufficient to read, write and speak as needed for the job. Prior cleaning or custodial experience is a plus.

• Prolonged periods standing, walking, pulling, pushing, and bending.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
