Machine Operator, Manufacturing & Industrial Operations, Production QC/QA
Under the direction of the Production Supervisor, we need a Machining Operator who can safely operate and support a variety of machining center processes to help us meet our production, quality, and customer service goals. This role is essential to maintaining efficient operations by operating equipment, producing quality products, supporting a safe work environment, and adapting to changing production demands.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate machining center equipment, including CNC machines, edge banders, micro perforation equipment, auto drill/molders, and forklifts.
- Produce quality products that meet customer specifications and production schedules.
- Read and follow work orders, production schedules, drawings, specifications, and standard operating procedures.
- Perform inspections, tests, and quality checks to ensure conformance to established standards.
- Maintain a safe work environment by following all safety policies, procedures, machine guarding requirements, and lockout/tagout practices.
- Monitor equipment performance, perform basic maintenance activities, and assist with troubleshooting as needed.
- Support material handling activities, including loading, unloading, staging, and transporting materials and finished products.
- Maintain housekeeping standards and support 5S initiatives.
- Participate in continuous improvement efforts, including Kaizen events, problem-solving activities, and process improvement initiatives.
- Support cross-training, knowledge sharing, and the development of team members.
- Collaborate with coworkers and cross-functional teams to achieve operational objectives.

Is this job for you ?- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum of one (1) year of experience In a manufacturing, production, machine operation, or industrial environment.
- Two to three years manufacturing experience Preferred
- Experience operating CNC equipment, edge banders, drill/molder equipment, or similar manufacturing machinery. Preferred
- Ability to work in a team based environment with little to no supervision. Preferred
- Ability to clearly communicate both verbally and in writing
- Good reasoning/mechanical aptitude.
- Experience using measuring devices and inspection tools to verify product quality and specifications.
- Ability to read work orders and specifications
- Basic math and measurement skills
- Ability to troubleshoot minor equipment issues Preferred
- Attention to detail and quality workmanship
- Ability to work safely in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
