Registered Nurse, Mobile Director of Nursing

Responsibilities

• Evaluate facility compliance to clinical policy, procedure, and care.
• Visit facilities weekly for intervention, audit, and training.
• Train new nursing management.
• Monitor readiness for State Survey and assist during surveys.
• Aid in Plan of Correction process.

• Current RN license in the state of Ohio.
• Minimum of 2+ years experience as DON in a Skilled Nursing Facility.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to multi‑task and oversee functions at multiple facilities.
• Ability to travel, sometimes for an extended time, to facilities within the region, as needed.
• Knowledge of nursing and medical practices and procedures, as well as laws, regulations, and guidelines pertaining to long‑term care administration.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills.
• Ability to communicate well with employees and families about their issues.
• Maintain current CPR certification.

Demonstrates expertise in nursing management within skilled nursing facilities, ensuring compliance with clinical policies and regulations while effectively training staff and overseeing multiple locations. Strong communication and leadership skills are essential for engaging with employees and families.
