We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse Unit Manager to join our team at The Avenue at Strongsville, a premier post-hospital rehabilitation and skilled nursing care facility in Strongsville, Ohio. As a Registered Nurse Unit Manager, you will play a critical role in leading a team of healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional care and services to our residents.
About the RoleAs a Registered Nurse Unit Manager at The Avenue at Strongsville, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of our skilled nursing unit, ensuring that our residents receive the highest level of care and services. This is a full-time position offering a competitive salary and a comprehensive benefits package.
Responsibilities- Lead a team of nursing professionals to deliver high-quality patient care and services
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement personalized care plans
- Manage and supervise daily operations of the skilled nursing unit, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and facility policies
- Conduct rounds and assess resident needs, making adjustments to care plans as necessary
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with residents, families, and staff
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and performance improvement projects
- Maintain accurate and timely records, reports, and documentation
- Current RN licensure in the state of Ohio
- Minimum one year of experience in long-term care or rehabilitation setting
- Strong leadership and management skills, with ability to coach and develop staff
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple tasks and responsibilities
