Quality Technician (1st Shift)
We are seeking a dedicated Quality Technician to join our team, working the morning shift from 7am to 3:30pm. This role involves ensuring the quality and integrity of materials within our plant, with a focus on data management and inspection processes. We are looking for individuals to start as soon as possible. We offer weekly pay with overtime paying time and a half.
Responsibilities:
- Inspect materials within the plant to ensure they meet quality standards.
- Scan MTR and certification documents, convert them to PDF format, and save them in the appropriate folders.
- Fill out certification number forms using Word Document or Excel format, including MTR numbers and part numbers.
- Assist with the Gage Calibration process, including packaging gages for shipment and receiving them from suppliers.
- Enter purchase requisitions in Infor, with training provided.
- Utilize Gagepack Software to check received gages, label them appropriately, and store them in the correct location.
Essential
Skills:
- Experience in quality inspection.
- Comfortable working on a computer and performing data entry.
- Proficient in quality assurance and quality control processes.
- Familiarity with gages and visual inspection techniques.
Additional Skills &
Qualifications:
- Admin experience is beneficial.
- Understanding of blueprints and QC processes.

Work Environment:
Our facility comprises two sections focused on Instrumentation and Filtration. It is well-organized, non-temperature controlled, yet comfortable without extremes in temperature.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Strongsville, OH.
Pay and Benefits:
The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $22.00/hr eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
