Workshop Fitter – HGV Mechanic

Are you a Workshop Fitter looking to further your skill set? We’re looking for an experienced workshop fitter to join our growing team based in Gloucestershire.

Basic Salary: A GBP 32,000 – A GBP 40,000

Location: Whitminster, Gloucestershire

Commutable Locations: Gloucester, Stroud, Nailsworth, Dursley, Berkley, Cheltenham, Thornbury, Tetbury, Syde, Newent, Cinderford, Coleford, Minchinhampton

Workshop Fitter, HGV Mechanic:
Commercial Vehicles, Fleet. Join a well-established business where your skills are valued and no two days are the same.

• Carrying out servicing, maintenance, and repairs on our HGV fleet.
• Diagnosing faults and ensuring vehicles are kept in excellent working order.
• Working as part of a professional workshop team to keep our operation running smoothly.
• Monday to Friday on a rotating shift pattern: 05:00 – 14:00 and 10:00 – 19:00.

• A positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• Previous HGV fitting / mechanical experience is essential.
• Class 1 licence preferred, but not essential.

We are a haulage and aggregate business with a fleet of more than 80 vehicles; many of these support specialist functions, but a general haulage fleet of tractor units and trailers caters for almost any load. We have been operating for nearly 100 years.
