The Medical Assistant is responsible for assisting providers with patient care, chart management, scheduling appointments, and assisting with in office procedures; other duties may include assisting the front desk with clerical duties when needed. This person must convey a positive image of the medical office.
This position will be based in Boardman, OH but may require travel to other offices in Mahoning County.
- Knowledge of the health care field.
- Knowledge of information that must be conveyed to patients and their families.

- High School Diploma Required
- Graduate of medical assisting program preferred
- Minimum of one-year work experience in public contact job. Preferable in a medical office environment
- Certified or Registered Medical Assistant certification encouraged (CMA/ RMA/ A
-OE)
Combination of medical office and exam/procedure room settings. Well-lighted, well-ventilated, adequate space. Exposure to communicable diseases and other conditions common to medical office setting.
Physical/Mental DemandsMust be able to use appropriate body mechanics techniques when making necessary patient transfers and helping patients with walking, dressing, etc. Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds of supplies.
