Staff Accountant

Description We are looking for a highly skilled Staff Accountant to join our team in Stuart, Florida. This Contract to permanent position offers an excellent opportunity to showcase your expertise in managing financial processes and ensuring accurate reporting. Responsibilities:

- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes to ensure timely and accurate transactions.

- Oversee cash applications and perform detailed bank reconciliations.

- Prepare and analyze expense reports, ensuring compliance with company policies.

- Conduct thorough cash flow analysis to support financial planning and decision-making.

- Utilize advanced Excel skills to organize and interpret financial data efficiently.

- Process journal entries and maintain the general ledger with precision.

- Collaborate with team members to resolve discrepancies and improve accounting operations.

- Ensure financial records are accurate and up-to-date by performing regular audits.

- Assist in preparing reports and documentation for internal and external stakeholders.

- Adapt to industry-specific systems and practices to optimize accounting workflows. Requirements - Proven experience in accounts payable and accounts receivable operations.

- Strong proficiency in general ledger management and journal entries.

- Demonstrated ability to perform bank reconciliations accurately and efficiently.

- Advanced knowledge of Excel, including formulas and data analysis tools.

- Experience with cash flow analysis and financial forecasting.

- Familiarity with large organizational accounting practices and systems.

- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.

- Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
