Job Description
The Delivery Service Dispatcher plays a key role in supporting delivery operations by generating cases for billing disputes and coordinating service for CO2 tanks. You will log incoming calls, create service tickets, schedule and dispatch service technicians, and assist with billing questions, gas refills, and equipment safety issues. This position requires accuracy, strong attention to detail, and excellent communication skills. You will receive a comprehensive training program that includes three weeks of classroom instruction followed by one week of hands-on training with a supervisor to ensure you are fully prepared for success in the role.
Responsibilities
+ Log incoming customer calls accurately and promptly in the system.
+ Create detailed service tickets for CO2 tank service requests, gas refills, equipment safety issues, and related needs.
+ Schedule and dispatch service personnel efficiently to meet customer and operational requirements.
+ Generate and manage cases for billing disputes, ensuring all relevant information is captured and documented.
+ Assist customers with billing questions and disputes in a professional and customer-focused manner.
+ Coordinate logistics for service calls and deliveries to ensure timely and accurate completion.
+ Perform manual order entry and update orders and service records with precise information.
+ Use basic computer navigation skills and Microsoft Office applications to manage documentation and communication.
+ Maintain organized records of calls, service tickets, and order entries for accurate tracking and reporting.
+ Communicate clearly and effectively with customers, internal teams, and service personnel.
+ Prioritize tasks and manage multiple requests in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
+ Follow established procedures and safety guidelines related to CO2 tanks and equipment.
+ Participate fully in the training program, including classroom and hands-on components, to build proficiency in all systems and processes.
+ Contribute to a positive, supportive team culture by collaborating with colleagues and assisting as needed.
+ Demonstrate reliability and flexibility in working assigned shifts, including weekends and varying schedules.
Essential Skills
+ Proven customer service skills with the ability to handle calls professionally and courteously.
+
Experience with logistics coordination and dispatching or a closely related function.
+ Proficiency in manual order entry and clerical tasks with high accuracy.
+ Basic computer literacy and ability to learn new systems quickly.
+ Basic computer navigation skills, including use of common software and internal systems.
+ Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications.
+ Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in handling multiple tasks and records.
+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
+ Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with customers and team members.
+ Ability to work weekends and flexible schedules as required by the role.

Skills & Qualifications
+ Previous experience in a dispatch, logistics, or delivery coordination environment is beneficial.
+ Experience in clerical support, order entry, or office administration is an advantage.
+ Ability to remain calm and solution-focused when handling billing disputes or service issues.
+ Willingness to participate in a structured training program, including classroom and hands-on components.

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Stuart, FL.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.
