Locums - Stuart, Florida, Emergency Medicine Opening Locum Tenens Florida
Join an established emergency medicine team in Stuart, Florida, providing care in a community emergency department. This locums opportunity offers an eight-month assignment with a combination of day and night 12-hour shifts while caring for both pediatric and adult patients in a collaborative clinical environment.

Providers will rotate between day and night shifts.
Orientation:
Two shadow shifts, EMR training.
Position Highlights:
Eight-month locums opportunity, day and night shift rotation, community emergency department, pediatric and adult patient population, mostly low- to moderate-acuity cases, structured orientation program, collaborative emergency medicine environment.
Clinical Details & Responsibilities:
Hospital Emergency Department, pediatric and adult patient population, primarily ESI Level 3 and Level 4, occasional Level 2 patients, 10–11 treatment bays, approximately 0.5–2 patients per hour, approximately 2–3% admission rate. Evaluate and treat emergency department patients, manage pediatric and adult emergency conditions, perform emergency procedures as clinically indicated, coordinate care with nursing and ancillary departments, complete documentation within the facility's EMR, participate in rotating day and night coverage.
Support & Technology:
Registered Nurses, radiology staff. No dedicated nurse or APP triage for lower-acuity patients. EMR training provided during orientation.
Requirements:
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine – Required.
