Experience Requirements

• 1–2 years of Open Heart ICU experience required
• Ventilator management experience required
• First-time travelers accepted

Licensure & Certifications

• Active RN license required (pending licenses not accepted)
• Certifications Required:
  • BLS (must be valid at time of submission)
  • ACLS (must be valid at time of submission)
  • NIHSS (must be obtained prior to start)
  • COVID-19 Vaccine: Required – Medical/Religious exemptions only
  • Flu Vaccine: Required – Medical/Religious exemptions only

Scheduling & Hours

• Guaranteed Hours:
  • 36 hours for 3x12-hour shifts
  • 40 hours for 8- or 10-hour shifts
• Block Scheduling: Not available
• RTO: All requested time off must be submitted upfront with the application

Floating Requirements

• Clinicians will float within scope to meet facility needs
• Floating includes three hospitals:
  • Martin North
  • Martin South
  • Tradition
    (within a 20-mile radius)

Local Candidate Policy

• Local candidates accepted
• Local radius rule: Same rate applies

Special Clinical Requirements

• Experience with:
  • Swan-Ganz catheters
  • IABP
  • Impella
  • Hemodynamic monitoring
  • Post–open heart recovery
• EPIC charting experience required
• Travelers must complete time-sensitive modules immediately upon confirmation—delays are not acceptable
