Job Details:

• Work 12-hour shifts with guaranteed 36 hours for 3x12 schedule or 40 hours for 8/10 schedule

• 1-2 years Open Heart ICU experience with ventilator management required

• Must have experience with Swans, IABP, Impella, hemodynamics, and post heart recovery

• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS (must have at time of submittal), NIHSS (must obtain prior to start)

• EPIC charting system experience required

• Float to all 3 hospitals within 20 miles as needed to meet facility needs

• Must be nicotine free - negative 10 panel + nicotine (cotinine) drug screen required

• White scrubs required

• EKG and pharmacy tests required during orientation with maximum 2 attempts each

• Time-sensitive modules averaging 6-15 hours must be completed pre-start

Skills required:

interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, arterial line management, central line care, continuous IV sedation, titrating cardiac and vasoactive drips, BiPAP/CPAP management, ventilated patient care, ABG interpretation, and isolation precautions

• First-time travelers accepted

• All RTO must be included at time of submission
