* ** Position Overview** **:*
* Inventory Control Associate is responsible for performing routine inventory control, material handling, and warehouse tasks to support daily operations. This role includes receiving, storing, moving, and staging materials accurately and safely while following established procedures and safety guidelines. The Inventory Control I position also performs inventory cycle counts, verifies inventory accuracy, investigates variances, and maintains accurate inventory records within the system.
The Inventory Control I works closely with team members, leads, and supervisors to ensure materials are accurately tracked and available to meet production and delivery requirements in a timely and efficient manner.

* + Receive, store, and issue materials, supplies, and equipment.
+ Perform physical and system-based inventory transactions
+ Maintain accurate records of inventory movements.
+ Assemble kits of materials, parts, and components based on production work orders or pick lists.
+ Verify kit contents for accuracy and completeness.
+ Label and stage kits for delivery to production or shipping areas.
+ Return unused materials from kits to inventory with proper documentation.
+ Transport materials between warehouse, production, and shipping/receiving areas using carts, pallet jacks, or forklifts (if certified).
+ Asist with loading and unloading of trucks.
+ Use ERP or inventory management systems to track material movements.
+ Complete required paperwork and labeling in compliance with company standards.
+ Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
+ Maintain a clean and organized work area.
+ All other duties as assigned

* Required Qualifications:
+ 1-2 years of experience in material handling, logistics, or warehouse operations.
+ Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand or walk for extended periods.
+ Knowledge of inventory control principles and stock management processes.
+ Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
+ Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
+ Reliable attendance and punctuality.
+ Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment with changing priorities.
Preferred Qualifications:
+ High School Diploma or equivalent.
+ Basic computer skills; experience with ERP systems is a plus.
+ Forklift certification or experience operating material handling equipment.
+ Familiarity with inventory systems and/or barcode scanners.
+ Experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment.
+ Familiarity with lean manufacturing or 5S principles.
Working Conditions:
+ While performing duties of the job, incumbent is required to stand for full shift; walk; sit; use hand to finger handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear.
+ Employee must occasionally lift and/or move up 50 pounds
+ Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
