The High School Spanish/World Language Teacher is responsible for delivering high‑quality instruction in foreign languages and culture, fostering students’ proficiency in speaking, listening, reading, and writing.

• Provide instructional programs that promote students’ development of skill and knowledge in the content area assigned.
• Help students learn subject matter and skills that will contribute to their education.
• Promote a class environment favorable to learning and students’ personal growth.
• Establish effective rapport with pupils to develop the skills, attitudes, and knowledge necessary to become successful individuals in accordance with each pupil’s ability.
• Establish positive relationships with parents/guardians and staff members.

• A teaching license issued by the State of Massachusetts appropriate for this content area and grade level (9-12 preferred).
• Demonstrated expertise in specific instructional content area, as assigned.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Approved CORI and Fingerprinting results.

Salary Range: $57,005.00 - $60,304.00
