We’re seeking a compassionate and experienced Physician Assistant (PA) to join our team as a Lead Provider. Lead Providers act as clinical leaders for all clinical staff, mentoring and supporting new‑grad providers as well as allied healthcare professionals. This role is perfect for a PA who thrives in a collaborative environment, enjoys mentorship, and is passionate about delivering high‑quality care.

Your Impact
  • Provide Patient‑Centered Care
    • Conduct health assessments, physical exams, and review medical histories.
    • Determine abnormal conditions by ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests.
    • Perform therapeutic procedures such as injections, suturing, and wound management.
    • Educate and counsel patients on health, growth, development, and wellness.
  • Documentation & Compliance
    • Prepare clear, complete, and legible medical records. Type, edit, and electronically sign all notes using the EMR.
    • Maintain a safe and clean working environment in compliance with company and state procedures.
    • Protect patients and employees by following infection‑control policies.
    • Comply with legal and professional requirements and advise management on necessary actions.
  • Collaborate with a Team Work collaboratively and proactively with other providers and health‑care practitioners to treat patients efficiently and plan coordinated dispositions.
  • Act as a clinic leader, especially when the Practice Manager is not in‑clinic, and provide mentorship to new‑graduate providers and other staff.
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending workshops, reviewing publications, and participating in professional societies.
  • Act as a preceptor offering educational opportunities and experiential growth.
Who You Are
  • Education, Licensure, & Certifications
    • Master’s degree and certification by a PA certifying body.
    • Must hold a DEA license with no restrictions.
    • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross. CPR, ACLS, or online‑only classes are not accepted.
  • Relevant Experience Clinical experience in emergency medicine, urgent care, or ambulatory care is preferred.
  • Leadership Skills Willing and able to mentor provider and non‑provider clinic staff.
  • Team Player Enjoy collaborating with others and being part of a strong team dynamic.
  • Communicator Proactive and confident in written and verbal communication, anticipating and addressing concerns.
  • Compassionate Patient‑focused, supporting patients with kindness and empathy.
  • Technically Savvy Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and clinical management systems (EMR).
  • Knowledge
    • Customer and personal service principles and quality standards.
    • Applicable federal, state, and local laws including HIPAA, OSHA, and medical practice regulations.
    • Relevant drug information, non‑pharmaceutical patient care aids, and medical evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment methods.
Pay Transparency

In order to maintain equity among team members, ConvenientMD has established defined hourly pay ranges for each role. Individual pay is determined based on a variety of factors, including location, years of experience, market conditions, and budget considerations. The pay range listed reflects the potential compensation for this role within this region. Final compensation is determined at the conclusion of the interview process.

Hourly Pay Range for this Position

$68 - $85 USD
