Perform manual and mechanical operations, including glass handling techniques, to support MCVD production for manufacturing high-quality optical fiber preforms;
Operate production tracking software and maintain accurate manufacturing records;
Conduct index profile testing to inspect and verify preform quality;
Etch preforms using acid to achieve the desired diameter;
Inspect lathes and GDS systems for leaks, defects, or damaged components
