3rd Shift Quality Inspector - Temporary

Job Description

CoWorx Staffing is seeking a temporary Quality Inspector in Sturbridge, MA. We are looking for someone to help support our client’s Quality Department through early November.

Sturbridge, Massachusetts

The ideal candidate must be willing to be trained and develop new skills to use various test equipment to conduct a variety of mechanical testing; completing and maintaining all required testing records; obtaining pertinent data for inspection; receiving and complying with verbal and written directions; undertaking and accomplishing assigned project work; ability to make sound decisions based on facts. Performs additional duties and functions of a related nature as assigned.

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent work experience
• 1-2 years of Quality experience preferred but not required
• Medical device manufacturing preferred
• Familiarity with regulations, including ISO 13485, preferred
• Attention to detail
• Use of measurement equipment
• Vision system programming and GD&T preferred experience
• Ability to work and communicate well with others
• Wear full Personal Protective Equipment while in cleanroom environment
• Visual acuity is required to read instructions, operate machinery, and inspect produced parts
• Lift and carry boxes weighing up to 30 pounds frequently
• Stand, bend, reach for extended periods of time, up to 8 hours per day

Pay range BOE based on experience: $19.53-$25.50/hr.

Training on 1st shift 3-4 weeks
