Convenience Store Manager Benefits & Compensation

Convenience Store Manager Requirements & Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- High school diploma or GED required
- Previous customer service experience required
- Retail management experience highly preferred
- Strong leadership and team motivation skills
- Experience working with sales targets, KPIs, and financial reports
- Ability to work flexible, open schedules including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Capable of standing for extended periods and lifting 25–50 pounds
- Proficient with basic Microsoft Office tools (Outlook, Excel, Teams)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Convenience Store Manager Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Oversee daily store operations with direct leadership for a team of three employees
- Recruit, train, schedule, and manage staff
- Ensure accurate cash handling, deposits, and daily sales reporting
- Maintain high standards in store cleanliness, merchandising, and customer service
- Monitor inventory, conduct spot checks, and ensure accurate recordkeeping
- Address customer needs and resolve concerns, building strong customer relationships
- Achieve sales and profitability targets as set with district leadership
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and company regulations
