Cleaning Technician

Job Title:

Cleaning Staff – Ahnapee Hill Cleaning

• Clean and polish furniture, fixtures, windows, glass partitions, and mirrors using appropriate cleaners, sponges, or squeegees.
• Sweep, mop, scrub, or vacuum building floors; steam‑clean or shampoo carpets.
• Dust furniture, walls, machines, equipment, and accumulate and empty trash.
• Service, clean, or supply restrooms.
• Drive vans, industrial trucks, or other vehicles required to travel to or perform cleaning work.
• Restore building interiors damaged by fire, smoke, or water using commercial cleaning equipment.
• Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment to prevent damage to floors and fixtures.
• Mix water, detergents, or acids in containers to prepare cleaning solutions according to specifications.
• Requisition supplies or equipment needed for cleaning and maintenance duties.
• Steam‑clean or shampoo carpets; use power equipment with proper safety procedures.
• Mow or trim lawns or shrubbery, clear debris from grounds, and use mowers or hand or power trimmers.
• Strip, seal, finish, or polish floors.
• Set up, arrange, or remove decorations, tables, chairs, ladders, or scaffolding to prepare facilities for events such as banquets or meetings.

• Previous professional cleaning experience is a plus (we will train).
• Flexible hours, shifts, or schedule.
• Able to sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, make beds, lift laundry bags up to 35#.
• Valid/good driver’s license.
