Do you enjoy working independently and seeing the results of your work every day? Carlson Building Maintenance is hiring a Floor Care Technician in Sturgeon Bay, WI. In this role, you'll help maintain hard floor surfaces and carpets in a large retail environment while operating professional floor care equipment and building valuable maintenance skills. No floor care experience? We can train the right candidate.

Pay: $16.00 per hour

Weekly Pay Every Friday

Schedule 6:00 AM - 11:09 AM

Approximately 36 Hours Per Week

Consistent Early Morning Schedule

Weekend Availability Required

Must Be Available to Work a Consistent 7-Day Schedule

Direct-Hire Position Career Growth Opportunities

• Operate floor scrubbers, buffers, extractors, and other floor care equipment
• Maintain hard floor surfaces through scrubbing, buffing, stripping, and waxing
• Vacuum, shampoo, bonnet, and extract carpeted areas
• Perform general cleaning and restroom cleaning as needed
• Follow safety procedures and cleaning standards
• Inspect equipment and report maintenance concerns
• Maintain a clean, safe, and professional environment
• Complete assigned cleaning projects independently and efficiently

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Reliable transportation required
• Ability to lift up to 45 pounds
• Ability to push and pull floor care equipment
• Strong attendance and reliability
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Previous floor care, janitorial, custodial, housekeeping, commercial cleaning, or maintenance experience is preferred but not required
