Salary negotiated based on experience.

1st shift, Monday – Friday, 40 hours/week

$1,000 hiring bonus paid at 1 year

PRIMARY ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES – working with the PPAP Administrator to:
  • Administer the preparation and submission of customer Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) documents for customer new work and process changes relative to production orders.
  • Communicate with customers to ensure PPAP and other reporting requirements are met.
  • Communicate any needs internally and coordinate completion of activities related to PPAP submissions.
  • Prepare PPAP workbooks for individual part submissions to the customer, along with any other needed reports or other documentation required by the requirements of individual PPAP Elements.
  • Work in close synchronization with other team members in the PPAP Group, thereby assuring the timeliness and success of the interconnected nature of the complex, overlapping sequential operations flowing in organized unison toward the common objective of first pass customer approval for PPAP submissions.
  • Track PPAP submissions and communicate with customers relative to any discrepancy issues that might arise and make any necessary adjustments to the documentation to gain PPAP approval.
  • By utilizing your excellent communication and organizational skills, higher-level detail orientation, willingness to learn and grow, and to take direction from the team leader, you’re bound to be highly successful in this outstanding career opportunity.
  • Experience in either ISO
    9001 or TS16949 Quality Management System (QMS) will provide you with substantial advantage in this environment.
  • Hands-on experience with computers and basic Microsoft programs such as MS Word and MS Excel will be essential.
  • Above average math skills and the ability to read technical drawings related to machining, welding and fabrication will serve you very well in this environment.
