Overview
We are hiring for a Department Manager position that will lead our Deli Department at our location.
As the key leader accountable for department performance, you will ensure the successful operation of the department by maximizing sales and gross profits through effective utilization of personnel and resources, providing outstanding guest service, and maintaining the highest standards of food and company safety.
Responsibilities- Direct and coordinate ordering, receiving, merchandising, pricing, and the overall freshness of department product.
- Accurately maintain records, oversee guest service, employee relations, labor management, profitability, expense control, inventory, shrink, public relations, and stocking.
- Control product freshness by rotating and removing out‑of‑stock merchandise.
- Direct the workload of team members and conduct performance evaluations and accountability conversations.
- Ensure all food safety and company safety practices are understood and followed by staff.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Previous retail or customer service experience preferred.
- 10% employee discount on grocery items, with additional franchise‑specific discounts available at community locations.
- Daily Pay for employees who wish to receive pay before payday.

- Paid Floating Holidays with time and a half for hours worked on company‑recognized holidays.
