Job Description:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Software Technician to join our automotive diagnostics team. This role focuses heavily on vehicle communication systems, diagnostics, and ECU flashing using industry-standard tools. The ideal candidate will have a foundational understanding of CAN communication and hands‑on experience with Vector tools.
Key Responsibilities- Perform diagnostics and ECU flashing on automotive systems using Vector tools (e.g., CANoe, CANalyzer, vFlash).
- Support development and validation of vehicle communication protocols via CAN.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to vehicle software and communication.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to execute test plans and document results.
- Maintain accurate records of flashing activities and diagnostic procedures.
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards in all operations.
- Associate’s degree or technical certification in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Automotive Technology, or related field.
- Basic understanding of CAN communication protocols.
- Familiarity with Vector tools (CANoe, CANalyzer, vFlash).
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow technical procedures.
- Excellent problem‑solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast‑paced environment.
- Experience in automotive diagnostics or ECU flashing.
- Knowledge of UDS (Unified Diagnostic Services) and automotive communication standards.
- Prior experience working in a manufacturing or vehicle testing environment.
Skills & Qualifications
- Associate’s degree or technical certification in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Automotive Technology, or related field.
- 1 year of Basic understanding of CAN communication protocols.
- 1 year of Familiarity with Vector tools (CANoe, CANalyzer, vFlash).
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow technical procedures.
- Excellent problem‑solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast‑paced environment.
