As Plant Controller, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the financial integrity and performance of a dynamic production facility. Responsibilities:- Oversee all aspects of cost accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting for the manufacturing plant.
- Maintain robust financial controls and ensure compliance with GAAP standards.
- Provide accurate financial data and insights to support strategic decision-making at the plant level.
- Work closely with department heads to monitor expenses and drive improvements in cost efficiency.
- Lead initiatives focused on continuous improvement and operational excellence within the finance function.
- Report directly to the CFO.
- Prepare periodic financial analyses and present findings to senior management.
- Support audits and enforce company policies related to financial management and internal controls.
Skills:
- Degree in accounting, finance, or a related discipline.
- 5+ years of cost or general accounting experience within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong analytical and financial reporting skills.
- Deep knowledge of GAAP and internal financial controls.
- Proven leadership abilities with experience driving process improvements.
Skills:
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) designation.
- Experience with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems relevant to manufacturing.
- Familiarity with Lean or Six Sigma methodologies.
- Understanding of manufacturing operations and cost drivers.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills for senior leadership engagement.
