Press Technician Details:
- Direct hire position
- $20.00 to $25.00/hour
- Full-time work available
- First shift
This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday, from 5:00 AM to 3:00 PM. The role requires flexibility to work overtime as needed and adapt to potential first or second shift schedules based on operational demands.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process customer files efficiently, preparing them for print production.
- Conduct thorough pre-flight inspections, troubleshoot file issues, and implement necessary corrections.
- Prepare and impose files accurately for final output, adhering to layout and registration specifications.
- Perform precise file processing, type adjustments, and color corrections to meet client requirements and industry standards.
- Generate proofs for internal review and client approval, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
- Manage file preparation for plating and operate plating equipment effectively.
- Collaborate with production teams to maintain a smooth and efficient pre-press to print workflow.
- Uphold high standards of quality control throughout all stages of file processing.

Qualifications:
- Required Qualifications &
Experience: - Minimum of three (3) years of proven experience as a Press Technician, Prepress Operator, or in a similar print production role.
- Demonstrated proficiency with Kodak software.
- Experience utilizing CGS software.
- Strong operational understanding of printing presses and associated machinery.
- Proven ability as a process technician, capable of optimizing workflows and resolving technical challenges.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Flexibility and willingness to work both first and second shifts as required.
- Preferred
Skills: - Experience or familiarity with Production Planning.
- Employment Requirements:
- Successful completion of a comprehensive background check is mandatory.
