JOB TITLE:Gluer Operator
DEPARTMENT:Finishing
WORK SCHEDULE:8 Hour Shift
Essential Production Duties And Responsibilities- Operate and Maintain Machinery:
Efficiently operate and maintain machinery to achieve high-quality production standards. - Set-Up and Adjust Machinery:
Perform set-up and adjustments on all manufacturing machines to ensure optimal performance. - Preventative Maintenance:
Conduct general and preventative maintenance on all manufacturing machines to minimize downtime. - Training:
Train production operators, feeders, and packers in the proper operation and maintenance of manufacturing machinery. - Assist in Repairs:
Support the maintenance technicians in production equipment repairs to ensure continuous operation. - Schedule Coordination:
Coordinate and assist in executing daily schedules to complete all tasks on time. - Record Keeping:
Maintain accurate production records of materials used and spoiled and assist manufacturing operators in tracking this data. - Continuous Operation:
Participate in tasks necessary to ensure the continuous operation of the production process. - Safety Compliance:
Follow all plant safety rules and maintain a safe working environment. - Quality Monitoring:
Monitor the quality of products being produced to ensure they meet company standards.
High School diploma or equivalent required
Basic math, reading and writing skills are required to perform this job. Mechanical aptitude is required.
