- Direct Hire position
- $ 16.50 to $ 23.00 / annually
- Full Time work available
- Weekend work required
- First Shift
About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Press Assistant to support our offset printing operations. The Press Assistant will work closely with the Lead Press Operator, contributing to efficient and high-quality print production. This role is essential for maintaining a smooth workflow, ensuring equipment readiness, and upholding our standards for safety, quality, continuous improvement, and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications:
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the offset lead press operator in all aspects of printing press operations.
- Support the setup, make-ready processes, and execution of print runs.
- Aid in the setup and adjustment of the press's feeder system.
- Follow directions from the lead operator to ensure efficient equipment operation.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area around the printing press.
- Monitor and maintain appropriate chemical levels in the press.
- Transport and stage all necessary materials at the press for production use.
- Actively participate as a team player, fostering a collaborative work environment.
- Demonstrate a strong commitment to safety protocols, quality standards, continuous improvement initiatives, and customer satisfaction.
Required
Qualifications & Skills:
- Prior experience as a Machine Operator or in a similar production environment.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds independently.
- Capability to perform repetitive lifting of up to 25 pounds.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
- Ability to follow instructions accurately and work effectively in a team setting.
Preferred
Qualifications & Skills:
- Familiarity with ISO standards or quality management systems.
Pre-employment Requirements:
- Successful completion of a background check.
- Successful completion of a drug screen (excluding THC) is required as a condition of employment.
