Lamination Fiberglass

Satellite Industries is seeking a Lamination Fiberglass Technician to join our Manufacturing & Production team. You will laminate and repair fiberglass components for portable sanitation products using molds, resins, and reinforcements. Responsibilities include surface prep, measuring and mixing resins, lay-up, trimming, finishing, and quality inspections while following safety, environmental, and ISO procedures. You'll collaborate with a supportive team in a clean, organized plant that values innovation, reliability, and customer satisfaction, with opportunities for growth across our global manufacturing operations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare molds and surfaces for fiberglass lay-up
• Measure, mix, and apply resins, catalysts, and gelcoats per specifications
• Perform fiberglass lay-up, rolling, and consolidation to remove air pockets
• Trim, grind, sand, and finish laminated parts to required tolerances
• Inspect parts for defects and perform basic fiberglass repairs
• Read and follow production drawings, work orders, and work instructions
• Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean, safe work area
• Follow all safety, PPE, and environmental handling procedures
• Work collaboratively with production team and supervisors to meet schedules
• Document production data and report issues in quality or materials
