• Maintain attendance records and report student deficiencies to Clinical Coordinator and/or Director of Nursing Programs.
• Provide regular updates on student progress to Clinical Coordinator and/or Director of Nursing Programs.
• Be knowledgeable of and uphold the program’s Student Handbook policies, program procedures, and program/course requirements.
• Comply with South Arkansas Community College Governing Board Policy and state and federal policy, including FERPA.
• Use established course syllabus, outline, and calendar to teach each assigned course.
• Work collaboratively with other faculty.
• Evaluate student performance and provide feedback.
• Coordinate clinical experiences for students at each clinical site.
• Communicate student learning outcomes for student performance to the clinical facility administrator and nursing staff.
• Collaborate with healthcare agency personnel to maximize student learning opportunities.
• Provide instruction to students in the clinical and campus/simulation lab settings.

• Associate’s degree in nursing.
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred.
• Active, unencumbered license to practice as a registered nurse in Arkansas.
• Minimum of one (1) year of recent clinical practice.
