Die Ausbildung beinhaltet Grundlagen der Elektrotechnik, Analog- und Digitaltechnik sowie die Programmierung von Steuerungen. Gute Leistungen in Mathematik und naturwissenschaftlichen Fächern sind erforderlich. Ein monatliches Gehalt beginnt bei 1.303,50 € im ersten Jahr.
