The Controls EngineerIV designs, modification, evaluation, and execution of complexcontrols-test engineering activities. This role works closely with engineering teams to define, document, analyze, perform, and interpret tests for products, systems, components, and modifications. The positionidentifiesfunctional issues, recommends solutions, and supports the development and maintenance of internal quality and reliability standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design, modification, and evaluation of complex controls/test engineering activities.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to define, document, analyze, perform, and interpret tests for products, systems, components, and modifications.
- Develop and execute test plans to evaluatecontrolsfunctionality, performance, and reliability.
- Identify functional problems and recommend effective resolutions.
- Analyze test cases and results to support engineering decisions and product improvements.
- Support the development and maintenance of internal quality control standards and reliability programs.
- Monitor testing progress and provide regular statusand progress reports.
- Apply engineering knowledge and sound judgment to plan andaccomplishproject and testingobjectives.
- Provide technical guidance and may lead or direct the work of others as needed.
- Apply creativity and technicalexpertiseto resolve complex controls and testing challenges.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineeringor an Engineering Technology/Technical discipline.
- Minimum of 8 years of related engineering experience.
- Expert knowledge ofcontrolsengineering concepts, practices, and procedures.
- Extensive experience applying engineering judgment to plan andaccomplishtechnical goals.
- Experience with PLCs, HMIs, and industrial robots is preferred.
- Experience with executing backup plans and obsolescence analysis is preferred
- Ability to analyze complex technical issues, evaluate test results, and develop effective solutions.
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional engineering teams.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a manufacturing environment, including standing and walking for extended periods
- Occasional lifting of up to 25lbs
- Ability to navigate production floors and interact with equipment and teams
Compensation
:
This is a salaried exempt role. The starting salary range for this role and market is between $116,000 - $152,000 annually. Factors that may affect starting salary include geography/market and the skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate. Employees in this role are also eligible for an annual bonus in accordance with the terms of the Company’s applicable plan.
Employees in this role are not eligible for overtime.
