Join our global IT operations team which manages and continuously develops our state-of-the-art IT infrastructure from the network to the cloud.
Responsibilities- Taking responsibility: Ensure continuous operation and accessibility of the network (especially WAN, but also LAN and Wi-Fi); manage external service providers and approve technical network architecture solutions based on corporate requirements
- Driving progress: Further develop and implement global network strategy/network design; execute and support global network modernization in collaboration with external providers
- Tackling tasks: Execute independent error analysis and troubleshooting as well as level 2 & 3 ticket handling; manage technical requirements management and coordinate with providers
- Driving progress: Handle network release management; support in organizational change management
- Recording conscientiously: Provide technical service documentation; maintain continuous service monitoring and reporting
- Qualification: University degree in computer science, business informatics or comparable training (e.g., IT specialist)
- Experience: Large corporate network experience (ideally working with WAN, SD-WAN and Zscaler, but also LAN, routers, VPN, gateways, proxy, firewall); experience with advanced IT structures and systems as well as knowledge within the security environment
- Know-how: Expertise in routing, switching, firewalling, troubleshooting as well as in network design required
- Additional qualification: Knowledge of service processes according to ITIL (ITIL Foundation), experience with operational processes and ITSM (incident and change management) and Cisco CCNP/CCIE of advantage
- Personality: Sense of responsibility, assertiveness, analytical thinking skills, team- and goal-oriented way of working
- Languages: Conversationally fluent English language skills;
German language skills at least at B1 level and a strong willingness to improve to B2-C1 - Security: The security of a large, globally active company with high standards for occupational safety
