The High-Performance Computing Centre Stuttgart (HLRS) is Germany's first national high-performance computing centre. It operates one of the world's fastest supercomputers and offers universities, research institutions, and industrial partners access to high-performance computing. Furthermore, HLRS holds a leading global position in the research areas of parallel computing, cloud computing, big data, and artificial intelligence, and is significantly involved in international and national research projects.

For Team Cloud, we are looking for a

in the area of internal AI inferencing services

• Exciting insights into the world of cloud systems and AI
• Flexible working hours
• Fair compensation

• Supporting the evaluation and internal use of an AI inference service at HLRS
• Collecting and evaluating tasks that could be addressed through the internal service
• Writing internal documentation and user-oriented material

• Interest in artificial intelligence, AI inference services, cloud computing, or user-oriented AI workflows
• Basic experience with the Linux operating system, and some programming or scripting experience, for example in Python
• A careful and responsible way of working with internal information
• Good communication skills in English
• At least 10 hours of availability per week

The work will be carried out in close coordination with Team Cloud. The focus of the position is on evaluation, benchmarking, documentation, training, and user support. Independent responsibility for service deployment or maintenance is not part of the position.

Your workplace is located in Stuttgart-Vaihingen, in close proximity to the University of Stuttgart and the Stuttgart Media University. Remuneration is based on the hourly rates applicable to the University of Stuttgart.
