SAFETY SENSITIVE POSITION Plant Manager
- Producers Rice Ingredients (wholly owned subsidiary of Producers Rice Mill, Inc.)
Job Summary: The Plant Manager is responsible for overseeing the entire operation of the Producers Rice Ingredients facility, ensuring efficiency, safety, and cost-effective production that meets quality and regulatory standards. Plan, organize, and direct daily milling operations, including production scheduling, equipment operation, and troubleshooting while maintaining compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), HACCP, and other food safety standards throughout the facility.
Oversee and mentor supervisors as they assign work, address performance concerns, and work with Quality Assurance and Safety teams. Communicate operational issues and staffing needs to senior management and Human Resources. Maintain and manage inventories for efficient order fulfillment, lot tracking and quality specifications.
Salary commensurate with experience.
Basic Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree in business management, engineering, or other related fields.
- Must exhibit strong problem‑solving skills.
- Must exhibit strong oral and written communication skills.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office with advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Knowledge of BRC standards and other food safety standards.
- Knowledge of related OSHA standards and requirements.
- 10 years in a food processing or grain milling industry.
- 5 years supervisory/management experience.
