Non-Salaried Foreman - Packing

SAFETY SENSITIVE POSITION

Schedule: Monday – Friday 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. with overtime as needed, including weekends.

Job Summary: Supervise and organize stackers each day, getting them on the line where needed and that they are following all safety and food safety rules. Responsible for inventory on products that will be shipping the next day, making sure those orders are covered, and help with immediate shipment orders. This position will fill in for supervisor, other non-salaried supervisors and poly machine operators when needed.

• Must have basic math skills.
• Must be willing and able to read, speak, write, and understand the English language fluently.
• Must have written and oral communication skills.
• Must have basic computer skills.
• Must have basic maintenance skills.
• Must have or be willing and able to learn computer skills related to poly- machine controls.
• Must have good troubleshooting skills.
• Must be willing and able to climb up to 30 feet.
• Must be willing and able to lift up to 100 lbs.
• Must be willing and able to bend, stoop, push, pull, twist, and turn throughout the day.
• Must be willing and able to work in hot temperatures for periods of time.
• Must be willing and able to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
• Must be willing and able to wear required PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).
• Must be willing and able to follow all safety and food safety rules.
• Other duties as requested by supervisor.

• Supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong leadership skills
