As a Meat Clerk you’ll answer questions, recommend cuts, and keep meat cases fresh and ready for the next guest. WhatYou’ll Do
- Deliver helpful service at the meat counter and on the sales floor, including fulfilling special orders and answering product questions.
- Maintain fresh, well‑stocked displays by inspecting, rotating, and replenishing meat products and supplies.
- Honor commitments by attending regularly and giving adequate notice for absences.
- Collaborate with the team by performing other duties as assigned.
- Strong communication skills: effectively engage with guests, leaders, and retail sales associates, using strong written and verbal skills in a fast‑paced environment.
- Food safety: willingness to learn food safety standards, proper equipment usage (such as slicers), and inventory practices.
- Ability to multitask while staying customer‑service focused in a busy retail grocery environment.
- Safety mindset: understanding and adhering to safety and food safety practices, including proper lifting techniques and use of slicers, trash compactor, baler, etc.
- Stand in one place for long periods, bend, stoop, and kneel regularly.
- Perform full range of upper body motion.
- Lift up to 80 pounds occasionally.
- Occasional exposure to extreme temperatures such as freezers, coolers, kitchens, and the sales floor.
- Repetitive motion of hands and wrists.
- Work in a fast‑paced environment.
This is a part‑time or full‑time position with varying shifts, including weekdays, weekends, and holidays.

Hourly associates are paid weekly; part‑time associates receive a $1 premium per hour on Sundays and select holidays; hourly full‑time associates receive time and a half on Sundays and select holidays. - Two‑Week Advanced Scheduling:
Schedules are provided two weeks in advance for greater predictability and flexibility. - Vision & Dental Insurance:
