Reporting directly to the Director of Planning & Budgeting, this position requires expertise in budget management and compliance with provincial regulations. You will lead efforts to prepare comprehensive budget reports, analyze financial trends, and support strategic decision-making across academic units. Collaborating with a dedicated team, your leadership will ensure alignment with institutional priorities and long-term planning.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead budget planning and development processes
• Review departmental budget submissions for viability
• Develop forecasts and support strategic financial planning
• Optimize budgeting systems and reporting tools
• Provide advisory support to administrative leadership
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s in Finance, Accounting, or similar
• 5-8 years’ experience in relevant roles
• CPA certification mandatory
• Exceptional analytical and critical thinking skills
• Proven ability to handle complex datasets professionally
