Position: Financial Analyst 18-Month Contract IAMGOLD
Location: Greater Sudbury

This role offers a unique opportunity to join IAMGOLD's FP&A team. As a Financial Analyst, you’ll engage with various departments, ensuring accuracy in month-end closures, variance analyses, and budget preparations. Your analytical skills will be pivotal in supporting continual improvements and financial processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support timely monthly close process with reconciliations

• Coordinate improvements in cost accrual processes

• Investigate variances in collaboration with operational departments

• Prepare comprehensive cost reporting for different business levels

• Assist with annual budgeting and Life of Mine planning activities

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in finance; mining experience preferred

• Provable English proficiency;
French is an asset

• Strong MS Excel skills;
Oracle ERP experience is a plus

• Understanding of Fixed Asset management is beneficial
